Troops of the 591 Brigade under command to the 59 Division of the Security Forces - Mullaittivu distributed free vegetable packs among needy families in Nandikadal area on Tuesday (15).
This programme was conducted on the directions of Major General P.D Suriyabandara, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 59 Division under the supervision of Brigadier Sujeewa Perera, Commander, 591 Brigade.
The GOC 59 Division, Commanding Officers of the 12 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) & 24 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR), Civil Affairs Officer of the 591 Brigade, Chairman, Fishing Community in Mullaittivu, PHI Mullaittivu and a few others joined the distribution programme.
