Naval Chief of Staff Pays Courtesy Call on the Commander of the Army

Rear Admiral K.J Kularatne RSP USP psc, Chief of Staff of the Navy on Wednesday (10 Jan), prior to his retirement from the Navy, was invited this evening (10 Jan) to the office of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu.

During the interactive meeting that ensued, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage also made inquiries about his future plans, prospects and wished him good luck with his future endeavours.

Towards the end of the cordial meeting, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage symbolized the goodwill of the Army by presenting a special memento to the Chief of Staff of the Navy. The gesture was reciprocated.
