National Level Swimming Training Program Successfully Concluded in Point Pedro

Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, a National Level Swimming Training Program took place from 3 to 6 May 2024 at the Velvettithurai Municipal Swimming Pool in the Point Pedro area.

52 Infantry Division organized the programme in collaboration with the 521 Infantry Brigade and 11 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment. The programme aimed to enhance swimming skills among students residing in the area. The Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union provided valuable assistance throughout the event.

The Final Presentation Ceremony, graced by Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander of the 52 Infantry Division, and the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union, marked the successful completion of the training program. Certificates were awarded to 225 students in recognition of their dedication and achievement in the program.
