Troops of the 1 Sri Lanka National Guard under command to the 143 Brigade recently assisted the renovation of the Mahawa regional Hospital and provided construction assistance.
Those wards thus renovated were formally left to the authorites of the hospital by the Colonel Faumie Kitchilan Commander 143 Brigade under the direction and the supervision of the General Officer Commanding 14 Division and the Commander, Security Forces-West.
