Alert to a sudden outbreak of a fire in the general boggy area from Muthurajawela to Pubudugama during morning hours on Monday (10), 5 Officers and 30 Other Ranks of 1 Sri Lanka Armoured Corps and 8 Sri Lanka Light Infantry of the 141 Brigade, together with the 141 Brigade Commander rushed to the area and brought the fast spreading bush fires under control.
