Mullaittivu Troops Contribute to Coastal Belt Clean-up

Troops of the 19 Gemunu Watch (GW) serving the 593 Brigade of the 59 Division under the Security Force Headquarters – Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) took part in a programme to clean up the 8 km coastal belt from Nayaru to Chemmalai in Mullaittivu on Saturday (17).

The programme was conducted on the instructions of the Brigade Commander 593 Brigade, Colonel Lanka Amarapala.

A large gathering of troops from 19 Gemunu Watch (GW) and 593 Brigade along with a gathering of civilians participated in the cleaning programme.
