Major General M.K Jayawardana RSP VSV USP ndu, the newly-appointed Commander, Security Forces-Mullaittivu made his maiden visits to the 66 Infantry Division and its under command Brigades and Battalions on 27 June after the assumption of his new office.
During the itinerary, he visited the 66 Infantry Division HQ, 661, 662 and 663 Infantry Brigades, 66 Infantry Division Battalion Training School and the 11(v) Gajaba Regiment camp.
During each visit, the General Officer Commanding, 66 Infantry Division, respective Brigade Commanders and the Commanding Officer of 11 (V) GR comprehensively briefed him on the present role and tasks of their visiting Commander.
In return, Major General M.K Jayawardana also made his vision known to the troops during his formal addresses in respective Brigades and Battalions.
