Major General Sisira Pilapitiya after assumption of duties as the new Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu, made his first field visit to the 681 Brigade Headquarters under the 68 Division HQ on Wednesday (22).
The Security Forces Commander was warmly welcomed by Brigadier Nalin Hettiarachchi, Commander, 681 Brigade. The visiting Mullaittivu Commander planted a sapling to mark his visit. Then, the Brigade Commander conducted a comprehensive briefing on the role and tasks of the 681 Brigade. The Security Forces Commander afterwards addressed the Commanding Officers and troops serving the 681 Brigade.
