Mullaittivu Commander Familiarizes with Areas Under Command to the HQ

The recently-appointed Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu, Major General Sanjaya Wanasingha, made a formal visit to the 57 Division HQ in Kilinochchi and its under command establishments during 10 - 11 November in order to familiarize with those areas.

During these visits, he closely inspected 571, 573 Brigade HQs and Ampakaman Battalion Training School and a few other places on Thursday (11).

Brigade Commanders of 571 and 573 Brigades respectively welcomed him and presented an update on their role and tasks.

Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu planted saplings and left his signature in the visitors’ books during these visits.

Senior Officers attached to Brigades and Units joined the arrangement, adhering to health guidelines.
