MUAY THAI Combat Self-Defence Course Enhances Special Forces Skills

The Special Forces Regiment recently concluded a rigorous MUAY THAI Combat Self-Defence course under the guidance of Colonel of the Regiment Special Forces and General Officer Commanding of 57 Infantry Division, Major General J.P.C Peiris RWP RSP ndc and supervision of Commander Special Forces Brigade Colonel D.S Horawalavithana WWV RWP RSP.

The intensive training program spanned from 13 May to 03 June 2024 and took place at 3 Special Forces Headquarters. A total of 44 students participated in the course under the instructions of Colonel P.P.C Perera psc, Vice President of the Army Muay Thai Committee and seven skilled instructors. The course focused on enhancing combat self-defence capabilities, equipping participants with essential skills and strategies for real-world scenarios.
