More Donors Offer PPE Overalls to NOCPCO Head

A representative group of officials of Polymer Manufactures & Re-cyclers Association of Sri Lanka (PMRA) offering their share of assistance at this critical stage of the epidemic this morning (29) met Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19-Outbreak, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army at the Army HQ and donated a stock of 500 PPE overalls for use among service personnel and health workers, engaged in COVID-19 control work.

Those overalls to be used largely by medical staff and members of the armed forces during their interventions to prevent further spread of the virus are to be dispatched to respective places after a short while. Lieutenant General Silva took the occasion to thank them for the timely gesture.
