More Areas Released from Isolation-NOCPCO

As of this morning (13), a total of 1,568 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, 80 were Sri Lankan expatriates. The rest 1,488 were locally-identified positive cases, including the majority 225 from Kalutara District, 154 from Colombo District, 153 from Gampaha District and 956 from different other Districts, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (13), a total of 271,105 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. Among them, 168,090 were reported after the New Year.

By Tuesday (13) morning (past 24 hours), 1,804 recovered patients have left Intermediate Care Centers and Hospitals. On 11 July, 31 more deaths have been reported including 16 males and 15 females.

By Tuesday (13) morning, 1138 persons have left 31 QCs after completion of their quarantining process. As of this morning (13), 4,853 persons in 75 hotels and tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine.

The latest GN Divisions that were released from isolation this morning (13) were Olanda village and Ruberuwatte village in the GN Division of Hendala North in Wattala Police Division in Gamapaha District, Jinna road of Merchant Thuduwa South and North in GN division of Kaththankudy Police division in Batticaloa District and Sinhapura GN Division in Kolonnawa Police area in Colombo District.
