More Than 500 East-based Troops Join ‘Ama Dora Vivara Viya’ Dhamma Preaching

'Ama Dora Vivara Viya' Dhamma preaching project, initiated by the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu with the objective of promoting mental balance and spiritual advancement among Army troops went to the Security Force Headquarters - East at Welikanda on 18 July 2023 and conducted a Dhamma preaching session.

Ven Balangoda Radha Thero at the invitation of the Army Buddhist Association preached 'Dhamma' to hundreds of troops serving the HQ after preliminary offerings and religious observances were made at the HQ temple premises.

Troops of the Security Force Headquarters - East organized this meritorious event as per guidelines given by Major General U.D Wijesekera RWP RSP USP rcds psc, Commander, Security Forces-East.

The Commander, Security Forces-East, Brigadier K.V.N.P Premaratne RSP USP psc, General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division and senior officers and officers, along with more than 500 troops gathered there to attend the 'Dhamma' preaching for promotion of spiritual progress.
