MOI Course-No 70 Concludes at CTS - Ampara

The Method of Instructions (MOI) Course-No 70 concluded at Combat Training School (CTS), Ampara on Friday (01 Dec) with the participation of 147 attendees representing different Regiments in the Army.

Brigadier D.R.N Hettiarachchi RWP RSP USP, Commandant, CTS graced the awarding occasion as the chief guest and delivered the closing remarks. In a rare gesture, three lady soldiers secured the first three positions in order of merits in the course. Lieutenant Colonel W.M.M.W.B.H.G.G Pitawala RSP USP, Chief Instructor, CTS, Senior Officers and Instructors also joined the occasion.

The notable performances of the course are as follows:

1st Place - Private K.D.H Kumari - Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps

2nd Place - Lance Corporal G.T Weerathunga - Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police

3rd Place - Private Y.G.D Thilakarathna - Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps
