Modernized Unicorns set to Sail to Mali

Newly modernized 9 Unicorn/Unibuffel vehicles, a recovery vehicle and 3 containers consist of imported spare parts which are schedule to be sent Combat Convoy Company (CCC) in Mali for Sri Lankan troops serving in the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission were closely inspected by Major General W.A.S.S Wanasingha, Director General Overseas Operations on Thursday (25) at the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME) Base workshop in Katubedda.

These unicorns and unibuffels were modernized and elevated to the United Nations Standards to be shortly dispatched to Mali by sea.

Major General W.A.S.S Wanasingha prior to the formal handover to the Commander of the Army closely inspected them this morning.
