MNDF and Sri Lanka Army Special Forces Conduct Fifth Joint Training Program

The Fifth Joint Training Program commenced on 1 February 2024 at the Special Forces Training School in Maduru Oya, with the participation of 3 Officers and 14 Non-Commissioned Officers of the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) together with troops of Sri Lanka Army Special Forces. The program is scheduled to conclude on 9 March.

The joint training program which marked a significant milestone in regional military cooperation was commenced under the guidance of Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, the Commander of the Army and Major General J.P.C Peiris RWP RSP ndc, the Colonel of the Regiment, Special Forces.

Senior Officers, Officers and Instructors participated in the training programme.
