‘The Ranaviru Real Star Mission III’ winner, Thushani Perera of Sri Lanka Air Force on Friday (2) accepted her grand gift, a two-storied house, worth about Rs 8 million in Battaramulla area from Mrs Ioma Rajapaksa, Chairperson, Ministry of Defence Seva Vanitha Unit during a special ceremony.
Welcomed by the Ranaviru Real Star, Thushani Perera and her members of the family, Mrs Ioma Rajapaksa, Chief Guest at the occasion was conducted to the venue to hand over the keys of the house in a colourful procession.
‘Ranaviru Real Star Mission III’, just ended at Sugathadasa Stadium selected Thushani Perera of Sri Lanka Air Force (1st Place), Private T.N Saraanga of Sri Lanka Army (2nd Place), Lance Corporal R.P.C.K. Rajapaksa of Sri Lanka Army (3rd Place), Corporal K.B.N.M Prasanna of Sri Lanka Army (4th Place) and Dhanuka Ranasinghe, of Sri Lanka Navy (5th Place) respectively.
The popularity of the programme came to its climax last week with the grand finale, taking place amidst a large gathering of music fans and distinguished guests, including HE the President, First Lady, Mr Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Secretary Defence, Mr Luxman Hulugalle, Director General, Media Centre for National Security and a host of popular artistes.
Friday’s ceremony was attended by tri-service Commanders and several other invitees.
