Under the guidance of Major General W.M.S.C.K Wanasinghe RSP USP, Commander of the 21 Infantry Division and Colonel of the Regiment of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment (MIR), the MIR conducted its Officers Training Day 2024-II at the Regimental Centre on 29 October 2024.
The day's focal point was a presentation on ‘Usability of Mechanized Infantry in Contemporary Operation Scenario in Sri Lanka,’ conducted by Commanding Officers and other Officers from the 2 MIR. At the end of the presentation, the Colonel of the Regiment presented certificates to the presenters, marking their contribution.
During the evening Dinners' Club, Mrs. Ama Dissanayake, a distinguished lecturer and counsellor, delivered a speech on 'Positive Thinking and Stress Management.'
Senior Officers and Officers participated in the training sessions.
