MINUSMA Mission Chief & Chinese Chief Medical Officer Visit Sri Lankan Convoy

A delegation, headed by the Mission Chief of the Staff, United Nations (UN) Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) and its Chief of Operations and Resource Management, recently made an official visit to the Sri Lanka Army Combat Convoy Company (LKACCC) in Mali and evaluated health precautions against COVID -19 pandemic in place among the troops of the LKACCC.

Those representatives closely inspected the premises and learnt more about preventive measures, being adopted inside the camp and during their movements, etc and had a frank exchange of views with senior officers in the Sri Lankan convoy. They also expressed happiness over arrangements in place before their exit.

Similarly, a delegation headed by the Chief Medical Officer of the Chinese Peacekeeping Mission's Level 2 Military Hospital (CHN L2) in the Sector East medical office, together with seven other medical staff of the same hospital visited the Sri Lanka Army Combat Convoy Company (LKACCC) camp on 16 September 2020 in order to donate a consignment of medicine to the LKACCC medical staff in the treatment of Malaria at the LKACCC-run Level 1 hospital.
