The Battalion Support Weapon Course (BSW)-84 (2023/I) for 29 Officers of the Infantry Training Centre (ITC) in Minneriya continued from 22 February 2023 to 13 June 2023 concluded in a certificate-awarding ceremony.
Colonel S.J.M.N.S Perera USP, Commanding Officer, Infantry Training Centre participated in the final certificate and insignia awarding ceremony for those who followed the Battalion Support Weapon Course on Tuesday (13).
29 Officers representing various Regiments in the Sri Lanka Army participated in the course which spanned over four months. The course was comprised of theoretical and practical sessions, related to basic infantry weapons. Lieutenant K.A.S.A.K Arachchi from Gajaba Regiment was adjudged the Best Student in the Course.
The day's Chief Guest delivered closing remarks before giving away certificates to the participants. Instructors, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were present at the event.
