Ambalantota police station seized a clandestine cannabis distribution centre located at Ridiyagama in Ambalantota on 22 January 2024. The raid resulted in the apprehension of three suspects, alongside 2kg of cannabis.
Ambalantota police station initiated the raid upon a tip received from the Military Intelligence Corps of the Sri Lanka Army. Further Investigation is conducted by Ambalantota police station.
