'Meth Sanda Sewana' Residents in Quarantine to Use Herbal Medicine against COVID-19

Applying indigenous practices to bring fast spreading virus under control, Vishwarekha (Pvt) Ltd, an Ayurvedic medicine manufacturer in close coordination with the Directorate of Operations on the instructions of Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff , Commander of the Army and Head of the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), donated 800 bottles of 'Lifeguard Antiviral Herbs' for distribution among persons in quarantine at 'Meth Sanda Sewana' flats in Colombo 15.

This herbal decoction, a result of an extensive research of the manufacturers, is believed to be able to kill viruses and protect the users from vulnerable infections has been widely tested and scientifically proved before the product was introduced to the Head of the NOCPCO.

This morning (31) Major General Harendra Ranasinghe, Director General Operations handed over the stock to the 14 Division for distribution under the close supervision of Major General Thilak Hangilipola, General Officer Commanding 14 Division.
