Men & Women’s Judo Teams in the Army Emerge Champions

The Sri Lanka Army emerged triumphant at the M.N Tennakoon Memorial Judo Tournament, to carry away the championship in Men’s and Women’s category.

300 Judo competitors around the island took part in the competition which saw male and female judokas pitted against one another.

The victorious SL Army Men’s Judo team scored 65 marks and Women’s Judo team scored 19 marks. 

The M.N Tennakoon Memorial Judo competition was organized by the senior Judo instructor, Mr. Raja Fernando for the 6th consecutive time at the Sports Ministry sports complex at Torrington.
