A massive crowd of 3441 villagers, mostly resettled after elimination of terrorism in Mullaittivu during a medical camp conducted by 592 Brigade throughout last Wednesday (25), sought special medical consultations from a mammoth team of 51 medical officers.
The humanitarian project, aimed at promoting physical and mental health among local populace, had been organized by Security Forces Headquarters, Mullaittivu with the coordination of the ‘Tharunyata Hetak’ programme.
592 Brigade troops in 59 Division supported and organized its conduct at Mullaittivu Vidyananda Vidyalaya on the instructions of Major General L.B.R. Mark, Commander, Security Forces Headquarters, Mullaittivu.
Troops serving in the area offered refreshments to all those who attended the medical clinic.
