The Security Force HQ-West took necessary steps to hand over a stock of medical equipment, gifted to General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army and Head, NOCPCO by the Sri Lankan Society in the United States of America for distribution among the most deserving hospitals in Kalutara, Karapitiya and Walasmulla areas under the supervision of the Commander Security Forces-West Major General Sujeewa Senerath Yapa.
The medical devices, comprised of 10-litre Oxygen Concentrators, Multi para meters, Pulse oximetres were thus distributed among the Kalutara Nagoda Hospital,Walasmulla Hospital and the Karapitiya Hospital Hospital for the benefit of COVID patients. The equipment were symbolically handed over to the health officials by the Commanders of the 612 and 613 Brigades.
