Medical Accessories, Gifted to Army Chief Distributed

The Security Force Headquarters - Central took necessary steps to hand over a stock of medical equipment, gifted to General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army and Head, NOCPCO by the Sri Lankan Society in the United States of America for distribution among the most deserving hospitals in Kandy and Peradeniya under the supervision of the Commander Security Forces-Central Major General Samantha Silva.

The medical devices, comprised of 5 Multipara monitors to each hospital were thus distributed among the Hospitals for the benefit of COVID patients. The equipment were symbolically handed over to the health officials by Major General Kithsisri Liyanage, General Officer Commanding 11 Division.
