Meal Packets Distributed among the Helpless in Vavuniya

A combined group of Army personnel working in the Media and Psychological Operations sections in the Security Force HQ-Wanni took an initiative and distributed 150 lunch packets among the helpless, stranded in the heart of Vavuniya town on account of the Thrice Blessed Day on 26 May.

Troops after preparing those meal packets by themselves took them to those lying along Vavuniya streets, being unable to make a living or move about due to travel restrictions in force. Senior Officers at the SFHQ-Wanni have given their blessings to the project.
