Maviddapuram Kovil Pooja Invokes Blessings for Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna

The sacred Maviddapuram Sri Kanthaswamy Kovil Pooja of Hindu tradition, took place at Maviddapuram Sri Kanthaswamy Kovil, Thellippalai on 25 January 2024. This ceremony sought blessings for the newly appointed Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc.

This traditional pooja, featuring offerings of fruits to the deities, is revered as one of Hinduism's most divine rituals. It is a unique ceremony where statues of deities are bathed with water or fragrant substances. The Chief Priest expressed his deep appreciation for the collaborative efforts of the Army in making this event a success.
