SENIOR ARMY OFFICERS, headed by Major General Kamal Gunaratne, Commander Security Forces, Wanni cum Competent Authority for Northern IDP Resettlement met state officials working in IDP centers and conducted observation tours on Army, Navy, Police and Special Task Force camps.
The visiting military officers during a meeting at 21 Division Headquarters under Security Forces Headquarters, Wanni with those officials discussed matters related to duties and security at those IDPs. They met military and Police officers at 21 Division Headquarters (Gajasinghepura), 211 Brigade Headquarters (Vavuniya), 214 Brigade Headquarters (Puthukulam), Town Camp, Vavuniya, Navy camp Manik Farm and Special Task Force camp at Ganeshapuram.
Major General Gunaratne after evaluating feedbacks gave necessary instructions and directives to his senior officers and other officials who represented various IDP centers.
