Troops of the 23 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) in Sengamuwa under the Security Force Headquarters-East (SFHQ-E) organized two "Shramadana" campaigns to clean up Komari Central Dispensary, Maternity Home and Al Aqsa School in Pottuvil on Sunday (09).
In the meantime, troops of the 242 Brigade of the SFHQ-E organized a blood donation programme at the Komari Central Dispensary and Maternity Home on Friday (07).
More than 120 Army personnel contributed to the project. Blood was thus collected for patient in Ampara Teaching Hospital. 242 Brigade Commander was also present during the programme.
