PAMUNUGAMA, WATTALA: PAMUNUGAMA POLICE have recovered one more powerful bomb from the SETHTHUPADUWA beach, PAMUNUGAMA similar to the previous two bombs recovered from VENNAPPUWA costal area which was abandoned by LTTE terrorists after their futile mission yesterday (17) around 6.00 p.m.
The bomb which was carrying a large quantity of explosive was another latest Improvised Explosive Devise (IED) of LTTE that could detonate under any weather condition defused by the Bomb Disposal Team of the Air Force.
Similarly Police with the assistance of Security Forces commenced a clearing operation in search of more other war like items believed to be abandoned by LTTE terrorists in the area.
