A full-day workshop, orgainzed by the Directorate of Psychological Operations on the theme “Managing Micro Economies and Living within Means” got underway at Sri Lanka Army Headquarters on 09 August 2023.
The workshop was conducted by the reputed lecturer on Financial Management Mr Amintha De Silva with the intention of educating Army members on financial management and how one should live within means in view of current financial issues, being faced by the members serving in the Army.
Accordingly, 42 Officers and 153 Other Ranks serving at the Army Headquarters participated in this one-day workshop and 487 Officers and 8675 Other Ranks joined through the Zoom virtual platform from all Security Forces Infantry Divisions, Infantry Brigades, Regimental Centers, Battalions and Training Schools.
Adding significance to the event, Major General J.A.R.S.J.K Jayasekara, Director General Electrical & Mechanical Engineers and Brigadier K.M.P.S.B Kulathunga RSP ndc psc, Director of Psychological Operations also joined the workshop.
