Major General K.V.N.P Premaratne RSP USP psc Assumes Duties as the New COS of the OCDS

Major General K.V.N.P Premaratne RSP USP psc assumed the duties as the Chief of Staff (COS) at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff (OCDS) during a brief ceremony on 07 May 2024.

Then, symbolizing his acceptance of the new office, Major General K.V.N.P Premaratne RSP USP psc, left his signature in an official document in the presence of a gathering of Senior Officers. Adding memories to the day, the Senior Officer was invited to pose for a few group photographs with the OCDS staff.

He then received a comprehensive briefing from Senior Officers of OCDS, gaining insight into the office's functions.

Prior to this appointment Major General K.V.N.P Premaratne RSP USP psc served as the General Officer Commanding of the 23 Infantry Division.
