Major General D.A Amarasekara USP, Commander, Forward Maintenance Area - Mullaittivu (FMA-MLT) who was promoted to the rank of Major General on account of the 74th Army Anniversary received the symbolic sword of authority from the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu on Tuesday (10 Oct).
He is among seven Major Generals promoted to coincide with the Army day. At the Commander’s office, he received best wishes and greetings on his promotion from the Army Chief and accepted the symbolic sword of authority, associated with this rank in the Army.
