Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the Director General Financial Management and the Colonel Commandant of Corps of Engineer Services, graced the St. Paul’s Girls’ School Annual Inter House Sports Meet as the chief guest at Havelock Grounds on 26 April 2024.
Upon arrival, Ms. Chandi Siriwardena, the Principal of the school, extended a warm welcome to the chief guest and esteemed guests. The event showcased exceptional athletic talent and recognized the outstanding achievements of St. Paul's Girls' School athletes.
During his address, Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc honored athletes who performed excellently emphasizing the transformative power of sports to instill resilience, determination and unity among students. He also encouraged the athletes to embody sportsmanship highlighting the importance of sports alongside academics.
