Under the direction of the Commander Security Force Headquarters Wanni (SFHQ-W), troops of 211 Brigade distributed school uniforms for students of Mahamilankulam Primary School on Friday (02) at the Mahamilankulam Primary school premises.
At the request made by the Army, Mr & Mrs Gamini Kariyawasam of Angulana Colombo sponsored this noble deed where 94 students from low income families were benifited.
Mrs Antion Somaraje, Zonal Education Officer of Vauniya, Mr Punchi Bandara, Deputy Zonal Education officer of Vauniya, Colonel M.K.S Silva, Brigade Commander 211 Brigade, senior officers, teachers, students and parents attended the occasion.
