Low-Income Group Families Gifted with Dry Rations

45 low-income group families for the beneficiaries of dry ration packets, thanks to an initiative taken by Major General Wasantha Kumarapperuma, General Officer Commanding, 65 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN).

The donation of those dry ration packets among Thunukkai, Alankulam civilians was sponsored by the troops of the 65 Division considering their poor living conditions. The distribution took place on Tuesday (28) after inviting all recipients to the Grama Niladari office at Alankulam since the Grama Niladari assisted to select the most deserving families for receipt of those life support-packs.
