Logistics Course No-3 at ASL Completed

The Quarter Master Logistics Course No – 03, followed by 42 Warrant Officers from different Regiments of the Army ended with certificate awarding. The Commandant of the Army School of Logistics, Brigadier J.A.R.S.K Jayasekara on Sunday (05) attended as the main guest at the main auditorium of the ASL.

These 42 Warrant Officers successfully completed Admin and Logistics Package of Quarter Master Logistics Course prior to their Commissioning as Quarter Masters in the Sri Lanka Army. Warrant Officer 1 H.M.K Wijesinghe of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps became the first in order of merits. It was appreciated at the closing ceremony by the Commandant and praised his outstanding performances.

The Commandant - ASL, in his closing address highlighted the qualities that Officers should possess after receiving their commission in order to become professionals in the Sri Lanka Army. Further, he stated that the Warrant Officers had achieved the objectives of the ASL and advised them to continue their studies in the field of Admin and Logistics.

Finally, the Commandant extended his well wishes to all the SNCO’s for their future endeavors. These SNCOs will be reported to Volunteer Force Training School – Diyathalawa to follow their final training programme.
