A lecture on Human Rights was conducted in the main conference hall at the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) on Wednesday (31) with the objective of educating soldiers on this aspect.
To be in line with the training day programme, the lecture was conducted by the Sergeant M.M.S Mannapperuma of 14 Sri Lanka Engineers who has followed humanitarian law instructor course at the Directorate of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law.
The participants in the training day programme were able to obtain knowledge on humanitarian law related to Army personnel in the humanitarian operations.
