GENERAL Sir John Kotalawala Defence University (KDU), Ratmalana, marking a milestone in its academia is to commence an MBBS degree programme shortly.
The new MBBS degree programme, in affiliation with a government university is to call for applications for the academic year 2008/2009 before 12th August 2009. KDU’s vice chancellor in consultation with directors in academic circles has managed to introduce this praiseworthy stream of studies to the KDU.
Males who are eligible for university admission can apply for the degree programme on or before 12th August 2009. Upon completion of the degree, combined with a military course, they are enlisted to the Army, Navy and Air Force as medical officers.
