Korean New Defence Attaché Meets Commander of the Army

Lieutenant Colonel Han Jong-hun, the newly appointed Defence Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Sri Lanka paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, on 07 August 2024 at the Army Headquarters.

The Defence Attaché, during his interactive meeting with the Commander of the Army, expressed his appreciation of the work, being fulfilled by the Army across the country for the best interest of the country.

The Army Chief recalled sound relations that prevail between both countries for generations and stressed the need to further enhance cooperation in the future, too.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of mementoes, symbolising the positive and collaborative nature of the discussion.
