KLN Commander Visits Two Units in Kilinochchi

Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda, Commander Security Forces Killinochchi on Thursday (13), made official visits to 9 Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) and 4 Military Intelligence Corps (MIC) camps.

He was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel M.P. Jayashantha of the 9 Sri Lanka Signal Corps after a formal Guard Turnout greeted him at the entrance.

After the troops' address, he received a comprehensive briefing on the role and tasks of the Battalion from the Commanding Officer. Afterwards, he had a look around the camp and took time off to visit the multi -functional Transmission Tower in Kokavil.

Later on, the Commander, Security Forces (KLN) visited the 4 Military Intelligence Corps camp and was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer. Then, he listened to a briefing, presented by the Commanding Officer in regard to operational and administrative tasks, being carried out by the Battalion. Finally, he visited the camp premises and wound up the day’s visit.

During his addresses, he emphasized the importance of performing assigned duties with dedication and commitment and promotion of their professional skills through constant training as soldiers.

During the camp visits, Commander Security Forces Killinochchi planted saplings as symbols of memory and signed visitors' books in all those places to mark his visit. Sportswear Design | シューズ
