Kilinochchi Troops Join Series of Shramadana Drives

Troops of the 571 Brigade of the 57 Division under Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) recently took part in a few social welfare projects with the close coordination with Kilinochchi civilians.

9 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) troops serving the Malayalapuram-based under the 571 Brigade recently organized a Shramadana campaign to clean the Baptist Church at Bharathipuram in order to decorate the church premises for forth-coming Christmas celebrations.

Meanwhile, troops of the 57 Division joined with the teachers and students of Central College, Kilinochchi to clean the playground and its surroundings.

Those series of Shramadana campaigns were organized under the guidance of General Officer Commanding, 57 Division, Major General Jagath Gunawardhana and with the direct supervision of Colonel Ajith Kolambathanthri, Brigade Commander, 571 Brigade.
