Kilinochchi Troops Clean Up School Surroundings

Several Battalions under Brigades and Divisions of the Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) conducted a series of community-oriented welfare projects in respective areas of the SFHQ-KLN recently.

Troops of 20 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) organized ‘Shramadana’ campaigns to clean the Urathipuram Seevan Kovil premises and waterways in cultivable areas. Meanwhile, 1 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) renovated the roof at Kaniyuuvankiddi pre-school.

In the meantime, troops of 5 Mechanized Infantry Regiment (MIR) and 15 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) conducted ‘Shramadana’ campaigns to clean the surroundings at Karukawathi and Wihasiyodai pre-schools respectively.
