‘Guna Jaya Sathuta Padanama’ (Goodness Foundation) once again launched its humanitarian assistance for the benefit students in Kilinochchi and distributed a stock of push bicycles and school accessories during a brief ceremony at Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) on Tuesday (16).
During the event, 106 students received push bicycles and 175 students were each given a gift parcel containing school accessories worth about Rs 2500/= plus a cheque to the value of Rs 1000/=, offered by the DSI company.
Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, SFHQ-KLN graced the occasion as the chief guest in the distribution ceremony. Mr Kushil Perera, Managing Director, ‘Goodness Foundation’ and a few his officials, General Officer Commanding, 57 Division, Brigade Commander, 571 Brigade, students, parents and teachers participated in the distribution ceremony.
