Kilinochchi School Children Get School Items

Troops of 15(V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) of 651 Brigade under the Security Force headquarters- Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) organized a donation programme for school children in the 651 Brigade area on Sunday (20) at Thevanpiddi Roman Catholic School.

The programme was initiated under the directions of Colonel A.P.I. Fernando, Commander, 651 Brigade and the donation was sponsored by Mrs. Evanjaline Lappern, Mr. Primal De Silva, Mr. Lakmal Wijethilaka and Mr. Sampath Adhikari of the Sri Lankan Air Line Cabin Crew.

A total of 200 school children received stationary items during the programme.

Colonel A.P.I. Fernando, Commander, 651 Brigade, Rev.Fr. Arun Kumarun of Thevanpiddi Church, Mrs S. Pathmadasan, Principal, Thevanpiddi Roman Catholic School and parents of the school children participated in the programme.
