With the intention of introducing the use of solar power as an alternative to solve the problem of providing water for cultivation in Kilinochchi area, an awareness programme on water pumping system through generator-produced electricity through solar power was conducted for farmers in Kilinochchi area on Wednesday (13) at the Harmony Centre, Kilinochchi.
Genso Power Technologies (PVT) Ltd with the assistance of the 57 Division, organized the programme. A large number of farmers were present to acquire knowledge to uplift their cultivation methods.
