A ceremonial Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour, presented by troops of 10 Sri Lanka Light Infantry serving under the Security Force HQ Kilinochchi greeted the outgoing Commander on arrival at the premises in keeping with military traditions.
Thereafter, the outgoing Commander placed his signature in a formal document to symbolize the relinquishment of office. Then he posed for group photographs with under command formation commanders and staff at the Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi.
Before an all rank tea, he formally addressed all Officers and Other Ranks at the Nelum Piyasa auditorium and commended the excellent services and constant support given by all officers and other rankers during his tenure and requested the same to be extended to his successor in future.
