Kilinochchi Commander Continues His Visits to Formations

Major General Amal Karunasekara, Commander, Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN)   made first formal visits to several formations under the SFHQ-KLN on Tuesday (15) and Wednesday (16) after assuming duties as the Commander, SFHQ-KLN.

Major General Karunasekara visited 6 (V) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC), 6 Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (SLAOC) and 7 Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME) serving in specific areas.

The new Kilinochchi Commander visited 11 Corps of Engineer Services (CES), 5 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) and 7 Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) on Wednesday (16).

He was welcomed by respective Commanding Officers of the Battalions and comprehensive briefings were given regarding the roles and tasks of the battalions.
