300 saplings of Jak, Mango, Cashew, etc were distributed among 25 families, resident in the general areas of Mankulam, Katukuwari, and Pudiyakolanin in the Grama Niladari (GN) Division on Saturday (7) during arrangements made at Mankulam Grama Niladhari (GN) office.
3 Gajaba Regiment troops of the 574 Brigade on the instructions of the Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi and Major General B.P.S de Silva, General Officer Commanding, 57 Division organized the event in consultation with the respective state official who selected those beneficiaries from the area.
2 In Command (2IC) of the 3 Gajaba Regiment participated in the event along with all ranks and gave away those saplings.
